Rolex Submariner Reference 168000, a stainless steel automatic wristwatch with date, Circa 1988

Description

The Submariner 168000 was only produced from mid 1988 until 1989 and it was the first Submariner to use Rolex's integration of 904L stainless steel rather than the more conventional 316L. 

The watch is in overall fair condition with moderate wear throughout commensurate with age. Case is in overall fair condition with moderate surface wear. Bracelet has signs of stretch and surface wear throughout commensurate with age. Dial is in overall good condition. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
