Sported by many world leaders, particularly American presidents, the watch was given the nickname the “Presidents’ Watch. The Rolex Day-Date was first founded in 1956, and at the time it was the first watch to indicate the day of the week spelled out in full.

The watch is in very good condition with minimal to no signs of usage. The movement is running at the time of cataloging, however, it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
